Important note on refrigerant: This unit uses R-12 refrigerant, which was phased out of new production in the early 1990s. The unit is not currently charged. A licensed HVAC/R technician can legally recharge it using reclaimed R-12, which remains available on the secondary market. This is a straightforward recharge for any qualified tech.
